Protocol for OLC Membership Complaints to the Board of Directors

It is important for the Board of Directors of the Ontario Literacy Coalition (OLC) to understand and respond to the needs of the literacy field. Effective communication is one of our values: we believe that our members, including people who have literacy challenges, have much to give to the OLC. The Board of Directors wants to make sure that there are many ways that you can take part and have your voice heard.

If you have a problem with a decision the Board of Directors has made, we want to hear from you. To make sure that your concern is heard, you can contact the Board of Directors by writing us a letter or phoning the office and speaking with a staff member. The staff of the OLC will make sure that the Board hears your problem.

The Board will talk about your concern at the next Board meeting and you will get a response.

If you have a complaint regarding the OLC, please contact the OLC Executive Director, Lesley Brown, at phone: 416-963-5787, ext. 27, or by email:lesley@on.literacy.ca
