Wherever learning happens, it needs to be supported.
The OLC has produced the first and only cross-sectoral literacy data published in the province – Literacy in Ontario. Working in conjunction with cultural streams, regional and sectoral networks, the OLC was able to produce reliable and timely data on the current state of Literacy in Ontario by integrating each region’s Literacy Service Planning reports.
The OLC uses many different methods to do research and develop resources. (Resources generally refer to products that come from our research. These include booklets, kits and teaching tools.)
Our research and resources are of the highest quality, and are relevant and useful to the literacy field. Most importantly, they meet the needs of our members and others who are interested in literacy.
With information-sharing and knowledge-exchange being of extremely high importance for the OLC, the research and resources produced by those outside the organization, and even outside the literacy field is acknowledged and promoted.
To access OLC resources, download the OLC Publication List and Order Form or visit OLC Resources.
