Research and Resource Development

The OLC plays a key role in identifying research needs that are provincial in scope. The OLC is involved in conducting, and interpreting or assessing the impact of the research, and applying and disseminating research outcomes and products to members and stakeholders.

The OLC finds out what research needs to be done in Ontario. The OLC helps to do the research. And the OLC explains to members and others who are interested in literacy what the research means and how the results will affect people.

The OLC also develops resources for its members and others who are interested in literacy.
