Professional Development

The OLC plays a key role in identifying professional development needs for literacy stakeholders in Ontario. The OLC shares information about these needs and supports individuals and organizations working in literacy to access the training they need.

In addition to supporting professional development work done by other literacy organizations, the OLC also conducts its own training initiatives, often working in partnership with others. As part of our research and resource development, the OLC develops guidelines and models for training, which others can follow.
