2007-2008 Continuous Improvement Performance Management System (CIPMS): Training and Communication

Under the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) CIPMS/LSA Initiative, the OLC provided Continuous Improvement Performance Measurement System (CIPMS) training to school board and college LBS program managers and coordinators.

In this initiative, the OLC, together with a Working Group consisting of representatives from the Francophone, Native and Deaf Streams, Community Literacy Ontario (CLO) and Ministry staff worked to develop a model of coordinated and integrated training plan that encompasses sectors, streams and regions.

Five training sessions - for program managers and coordinators working in funded school board and college LBS programs as well as directors of Regional Networks - covered an orientation to the principles of CIPMS, and how this performance measurement process can be used to measure progress of LBS service delivery standards.
